  3. MK-ULTRA (1953–1973) – The most famous CIA mind control program; tested LSD, sensory deprivation, brainwashing, hypnosis, and other techniques on unwitting subjects.

  4. MK-DELTA – MK-ULTRA’s “operational arm,” applying techniques to foreign field operations.

  5. MK-SEARCH (1964–1972) – Combined earlier MK-ULTRA subprojects to develop practical field applications for mind control and incapacitation.

  6. MK-OFTEN – Explored behavioral effects of drugs and chemicals, including toxicology and “occult” research.

  7. MK-NAOMI – Joint CIA–Army project to develop biological agents for clandestine use, often linked to incapacitation.

  8. MK-CHICKWIT – Collected new drugs and exotic substances from around the world for testing.

  9. Operation MIDNIGHT CLIMAX – MK-ULTRA subproject where prostitutes lured subjects to CIA safe houses for drugging and observation. Operation CHATTER (Navy) – Explored use of drugs for interrogation and recruitment of spies.

  3. Edgewood Arsenal Experiments (1955–1975) – U.S. Army tested chemical and biological agents, including psychoactive substances, on soldiers.

  4. Operation DERBY HAT – Army/CIA collaboration using sensory deprivation and stress positions for behavior modification.

  5. Project PANDORA (1960s) – Army/CIA research into the effects of microwave radiation on human behavior and cognition.

DARPA & Advanced Research

  1. Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS) – Alleged use of subliminal sound modulation to implant thoughts; unconfirmed in official records but tied to DARPA research.
